The company said it was a reward for their commitment to serving their fatherland.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Raymond Asemakaha, presented the appointment letters to the corps members during a capacity building and entrepreneurship development workshop with the theme: “Employer of Employee’’, held in Makurdi, the capital.
The workshop, which was organised by Adebayo Oluwatobi, an NYSC member serving in Benue, drew participants from various youth centres and among corps members in the state.
While presenting the letters to the beneficiaries, Asemakaha stated that they were chosen based on their records obtained from their places of primary assignments and the way they conducted themselves during the workshop.
“The beneficiaries impressed me so much throughout the workshop. I took cognisance of their punctuality, response and after successfully answering some questions put to them satisfactorily, I decided to give them automatic employment so that they can add value to the society,” he said.
Delivering his paper, titled: “Accessing online jobs through Facebook marketing, website and graphics designs,” Ademakaha said people could become successful entrepreneurs if they put their mobile phones to good use.
He urged the participants to think of positive online businesses instead of relying on government jobs.
He also stressed that with their smartphones and knowledge, they could make a good living with the lessons learnt from the workshop.
